A new museum in Pompano Beach, Florida has opened as what is believed to be the first facility in the United States devoted exclusively to jellyfish. The nearly 10,000-square-foot attraction features approximately 20 different jellyfish species displayed across 21 specialized tanks with neon lighting effects. Ukrainian aquarium developers established the museum to showcase these ancient marine animals, which have existed in Earth's oceans for over 500 million years, making them older than both dinosaurs and trees.
